Choirs

If you have ever been curious about being in any of the choirs, feel free to attend a rehearsal.
All are welcome and encouraged to join!  

Sanctuary Choir
Rehearsals take place before church on Sundays at 9:30am and after church from 11:15-12.30.
The choir is open to ages 13-adult. 

Wesleyan Choir
Rehearsals take place on Sundays at 11:00am in the Choir Room.
The choir is open to all children in grades 1-5.  

Bell Choir
Rehearsals take place on Sundays from 12:30pm-1:00pm in the Choir Room.
The choir is open to grades 5 – adult.

All are welcome to join. Please email the Director of Music, Shea Velloso, if you wish to become a member of any of the choirs.


Concert Series - 2019


Organ works of Charles Tournemire - Sunday, Sebtember 15 - 4:00pm
Organist Rich Spotts will play selections from Charles Tournemire's magnum opus L'Orgue Mystique.
Several members of the church's choir will sing the Plainsong chant upon which these selections are based. The concert will be followed by a reception. 

Piano Concert - Sunday, October 27 - 4:00pm
Pianist Veronica O'Brien will present a concert of piano works. Further information to come.

175th Anniversary Cocnert - Sunday, November 17 - 4:00pm
Organist Shea Velloso will be joined by the Church's Sanctuary Choir and other musicians in a concert to celebrate UMC Milltown's 175th anniversary. The program will include works by Alexandre Guilmant, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Johann Sebastian Bach's Passacaglia in c minor, and others.  

Advent Noonday Worship & Recital Series - Every Wednesday During Advent - 12:00 noon
A short service will be followed by a 30-minute organ recital. This is a wonderful opportunity to take a short mid-week break and enjoy some of the music of the season.
Dates are Wednesday, November 27, December 4, 11, & 18.
